Technology Cuts Costs - Customers Connect Directly with Movers

A Happy Ending

Moving Help Center resolves the issue of online brokers by creating a system that allows clients to browse and book local moving helpers online without the need of a live person.

"We were looking for a way to make our website run faster, we eventually found away to make the whole online booking system faster and more cost-efficient for everyone" said Rome C. Dias, Moving Labor Program Director.

After months of working with the programmers at Wix, a cloud-based web development platform, a solution was accidently found.

Faster & Cost Effective

"Now, we have a faster running website and an easy way for clients to hire movers online with a few clicks" Rome said as he summarized the new platform, which is set to be released by March 2020.

"Right now, we are contacting all of our verified providers and updating their prices, as well as asking them to send us real photos of them working. These images will later be added to our site, social media and blogs so clients can see the quality of the work done by providers on our platform." Rome said. "The companies love it because they can be seen, along with their logos and actual work - not stock photos"

The new system cuts the overhead cost associated with running an office. The platform is being professionally managed by Wix, a technology company, at an undisclosed rate. Without the need to hire and maintain a staff of 20+ people or to rent a large office space the cost of hiring local moving labor drastically reduces.

"The customers save time & money - as do the moving companies listed on our site. We do not take a percentage of their hard earned money. Everyone is happy" Rome was quoted.
